Eric is a warm and experienced therapist, facilitator, guide and mentor, in private practice as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 25 years. He is a Registered Clinical Counselor in British Columbia, Canada, and a member of the American and California Associations of Marriage and Family Therapists.

As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, he volunteered for ten years supervising counselors-in-training for the Southern California Counseling Center, a not-for-profit Center offering very low fee services in Los Angeles.

Eric uses psychodynamic, transpersonal and shamanic modalities in his work with individuals, couples, and small groups. He has devoted his practice to developing the "Power of Well Being" for midlife transformation and the healing of personal trauma, while focusing on men's issues, interpersonal communication and the mysteries of dream work.

He has trained with and been initiated by traditional healers on three continents.

Eric travels regularly to Tibet and East Africa where he and his wife, Candace Cole, work with traditional healers and the local communities to offer clinics. Candace and Eric are involved in a number of long-term projects to provide for the education and health care of children, especially those who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS.
